The Rotary Youth Center at Morrison gives youth, families, and therapists an expanded year-round space for treatment, training, physical education, recreation, and group meetings. Morrison Child & Family Services provides a variety of mental health, substance abuse, and foster care services to nearly 8,000 children and families each year in Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Marion, Polk, Columbia, Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties. This project will benefit the children and families of Morrison Child & Family Services for generations to come.
JHC became involved in the project when we were one of three selected general contractors asked to respond to an RFQ by EMA Architecture. Due to JHC’s early involvement in the project, we were able to collaborate in design development and helping to provide a design-build approach to ensure a successful project within the client’s budget. In addition to this, JHC assisted in seeking donations from subcontractors and suppliers.
