Joseph Hughes Construction Hires Seasoned

Business Development & Marketing Manager

Portland, OR . . . Portland, OR based commercial construction general contractor Joseph Hughes Construction (JHC) has announced the recent addition of Emily Foltz, CPSM, to the leadership team. Foltz will serve as Business Development & Marketing Manager.

Foltz brings to JHC over two decades of AEC marketing and business development experience and a proven track record of building relationships and business growth across diverse Pacific Northwest market sectors. Prior to joining JHC, Foltz served in similar roles for several of Oregon’s leading design and construction firms including ZGF Architects and Interface Engineering. Foltz earned her Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Oregon. She is a certified LEED Green Associate and a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM), which demonstrates her commitment to sustainability and excellence in the architecture/ engineering/ construction (AEC) field. Foltz is an active member of the Oregon Chapters of SMPS, CREW, NAIOP and the Architectural Foundation of Oregon (AFO).

In her new Business Development role, Foltz will supplement the current BD efforts to cultivate and retain new and existing clients, identify and pursue market opportunities, and coordinate with project teams to deliver new business. As Marketing Manager, she will oversee all aspects of marketing communications, social media, branding, collateral, website content, and public relations.
