JHC Companies completed the Asher 22 Apartments in Portland, delivering a 22-unit multifamily development with ground-floor mixed-use space in the vibrant Woodlawn neighborhood. This project highlights our experience in urban infill construction, efficient multifamily design, and high-quality residential buildouts.

Located in Portland’s Woodlawn neighborhood, this project reflects the growing demand for urban infill and mixed-use development. The design maximizes a compact site while delivering modern residential units and activating the street level with commercial space.

The project delivers modern apartment units designed for comfort and efficiency, featuring high-quality finishes, natural light, and access to a highly walkable neighborhood with nearby amenities and transit options.

PROJECT CHALLENGES

Constructing a multifamily project within an established neighborhood required careful coordination of site logistics, staging, and material deliveries. Working within a compact urban footprint, the team prioritized efficient sequencing and coordination to maintain schedule and minimize disruption to the surrounding community.

Integrating residential units with ground-floor mixed-use space also required close coordination of building systems and life-safety requirements.
