JHC Companies completed a multi-phase renovation and expansion for St. Luke Lutheran Church in Portland, Oregon. This project upgraded an existing occupied facility with new structural elements, modern building systems, and enhanced entry and gathering spaces to better serve the community.

Upgrades to fire protection systems, HVAC controls, and utilities improved the overall performance, safety, and efficiency of the facility, ensuring it meets modern standards while supporting long-term operational needs.

Renovating an active community facility requires careful planning to ensure safety and minimize disruption. This project was completed in phases, allowing the church to remain operational while construction progressed, with a detailed on-site safety program guiding all work.
