WHAT IS

WIC WEEK?

WIC Week, short for Women in Construction Week, is an annual event that celebrates and promotes the role of women in the construction industry. It’s organized by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and typically takes place during the first full week of March.

Hosted by the National Association of Women in Construction, this nationwide initiative celebrates the incredible women shaping the construction industry and driving it forward every day. We are proud to recognize their impact and support safer, stronger jobsites for everyone.

The week highlights the growing presence and contributions of women in all areas of construction — from trades and project management to engineering and leadership roles. It’s both a celebration and a call to action — encouraging diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities across the construction industry.
