OUR CULTURE
JHC promotes a culture of safety, integrity and 'doing the right thing'. Led by owners Tom Rue and Taylor Schmitz, the company has created a 'family feel' environment in which employees across field and office staff engage with each other regularly. Each office employee has their own office space, that enables a focused work effort and allows for impromptu team meetings without interruption our open space distractions. This provides our project team members the privacy to have conversations with owners, architects and subcontractors with the team in one place to improve communication.

The team has regular all-hands events, whether social 'team building' events, safety training or seasonal activities. These events are a great opportunity for the group to get together and enjoy each other's friendships away from the rigors of the projects we tackle day in and day out.
